Luhya Leaders Deliver Bulls as a Tribute Ahead of Odinga’s Burial in Bondo
In a gesture of deep respect, Musalia Mudavadi and a delegation of Luhya leaders presented bulls to be slaughtered as a cultural tribute during the burial of the late Raila Odinga.
Raila Odinga is set to buried on Sunday, 19th 2025 at his father’s home in Bondo, Kang’o ka Jaramogi. It was his wish he be buried within 72 hours.
Raila’s state burial will enter into Kenya’s history books as one of the most attended burials. More than 50 world leaders are set to attend Baba’s burial.

Raila Odinga’s body arrived at Mamboleo stadium in Kisumu for public viewing Saturday 18th 2025. Kisumu residents arrived at the venue very early to pay their last respects.
While a lot has been speculated on social media concerning Baba’s passing, his family lead by Winnie Odinga made it clear that Baba passed away in India.

Winnie Odinga eulogised her father as a strong family man who loved everyone especially his grandchildren and everyone he came across.

Security has been deployed to help with the large crowd that is expected on Sunday during Baba’s burial.
As a state function, a lot is expected including the gun salutes. Raila will be remembered as a selfless and humble statesman who put kenya first.
