Accompanied by Wiper Patriotic Front Party members, the Kamba Council of Elders, and religious leaders, Musyoka expressed gratitude for the opportunity to honor the fallen political icon.
“I am grateful to be here in Kisumu, surrounded by my Wiper Patriotic Front Party members, the Kamba Council of Elders and the religious community this morning,” Musyoka said. “Together, we will journey to Opoda Farm and Kang’o ka Jaramogi, to pay our respects to our fallen brother, friend and colleague Rt Hon Raila Amolo Odinga.”

The delegation will visit Odinga’s final resting place at Kang’o Ka Jaramogi, where the veteran opposition leader was buried on October 19, 2025, following his death in India.
Musyoka’s visit underscores the continued outpouring of grief and respect from across Kenya’s political spectrum for Odinga, who served as Prime Minister from 2008 to 2013 and was a key figure in the country’s democratic development.
The inclusion of the Kamba Council of Elders highlights the cross-ethnic solidarity that has characterized the mourning period for the political veteran.
