Dubai, Saudi Jobs: CS Mutua Announces Recruitment Drive in Mombasa and Nairobi
The Kenyan government has announced 1,000 new employment opportunities abroad for citizens seeking jobs in Dubai and Saudi Arabia, with recruitment interviews set to commence this Wednesday.

Labour and Social Protection Cabinet Secretary Alfred Mutua made the announcement, confirming that his ministry is working in collaboration with recruitment agencies to facilitate the hiring process.

Interview Schedule and Venues
The interviews will be conducted over three days at National Industrial Training Authority (NITA) offices in two locations. Mombasa will host interviews on Wednesday, October 29, and Thursday, October 30, while the Athi River center will conduct its sessions on Friday, October 31.
Dubai Job Opportunities
CS Mutua outlined a comprehensive list of positions available in the United Arab Emirates, including:
- 350 Drivers
- 500 Riders/Delivery Drivers
- 150 Security Guards
- 300 Warehouse Workers and E-commerce Pickers/Helpers
- Cleaners (both male and female, ages 22–35)
- Waitresses and Hotel Housekeepers (ages 22–35)
- 175 Masons, Steel Fixers, Carpenters, and General Labourers (ages 21–45)
Successful applicants for Dubai positions will be offered two-year renewable contracts with competitive benefits packages. These include free accommodation, medical cover, food, and transport, along with overtime pay as stipulated under UAE labour laws. Workers will also be entitled to 30 days of annual leave.
Saudi Arabia Positions
For those interested in opportunities in Saudi Arabia, the available positions include:
- 50 Drivers (minimum age 21)
- 25 Mechanics (ages 21–45)
Saudi Arabia placements come with two-year contracts and comprehensive benefits including free food, transport, accommodation, and medical insurance.
Required Documents
CS Mutua urged all prospective applicants to come prepared with the following documents:
- National Identity Card
- School certificates
- Passport or proof of passport application
- Passport-sized photographs
- Any relevant academic or work-related certificates and documents
The Labour Ministry emphasized that all recruitment processes will be conducted transparently and in accordance with Kenyan labour migration laws to protect workers’ rights and prevent exploitation.
This announcement comes as part of the government’s ongoing efforts to create employment opportunities for Kenyan youth and address unemployment challenges through international labour migration partnerships.
Interested candidates are encouraged to arrive early at the designated NITA offices with all required documentation to avoid delays in the interview process.
