BREAKING: Multiple Fatalities Feared in Kikopey Highway Crash
GILGIL — A serious accident has occurred at Kikopey along the Nakuru-Nairobi Highway involving a Great Rift 14-seater matatu and a trailer.

Several people are feared dead following the collision, which witnesses say was caused by brake failure on the truck.
Nakuru County Police Commander Emmanuel Opuru confirmed authorities have dispatched emergency teams to the scene.
“We are yet to confirm the exact number of casualties. Teams and emergency units are responding to the incident,” Opuru stated.
The matatu sustained severe damage in the crash. Rescue operations are currently underway to extract trapped passengers.
Motorists are urged to exercise caution as traffic disruptions continue along the busy highway.
