Party in the City: Nassir Hosts as ODM Unveils Packed 20th Anniversary Schedule
The Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) has released the official programme for its 20th-anniversary celebrations, scheduled to take place from Thursday, 13th November, to Sunday, 16th November 2025, in Mombasa County.

The four-day series of events, dubbed ODM@20, will bring together delegates and supporters from across the nation to mark two decades of the party’s political journey.

According to a programme released by the party, the festivities will commence on Thursday, 13th November, with Registration and Accreditation for all delegates at the Mama Ngina Waterfront from 8:00 a.m. This will be followed by a National Governing Council (NGC) Meeting at the ASK Showground at 4:00 p.m.
The following day, Friday, 14th November, will feature a packed schedule, beginning with the Orange Disability League Breakfast at Whitesands Hotel at 7:30 a.m. Concurrently, the Women Convention will be held at the ASK Showground at 10:00 a.m., while the Youth Convention will take place at the historic Fort Jesus at the same time. The day’s activities will culminate in a Youth Concert at a venue yet to be confirmed.
The anniversary celebrations will peak on Saturday, 15th November, with the Main Event at the Mama Ngina Waterfront at 9:00 a.m. This will be followed by a Founders’ Dinner at 7:00 p.m.
The official programme will conclude on Sunday, 16th November, with an Interdenominational Prayer Service in the neighbouring Kilifi County at 9:00 a.m.
The ODM party, headquartered at Chungwa House in Lavington, Nairobi, is one of Kenya’s major political formations. The detailed itinerary signals a significant national gathering, expected to draw the party’s top leadership, members, and affiliated delegates to the coastal region for a period of reflection, strategy, and celebration.
